Lately I’ve been obsessing over the application possibilities of Lumi’s genius new product Inkodye. Basically, this ink takes a transparency or photographic negative and transfers the image using sunlight. You get gorgeous results and there are no limits to what you can create.
I need to get my hands on this stuff asap! Buy some here.
I ordered some 1” thick tree slices with some beautiful bark for a future craft project… this one might turn out really well and I’m pretty excited about it.

(Martha Stewart Chalkboard paint in grey. $6 at Michael’s Crafts)
I finally got around to glitterizing my foam skull.
Renee glitterized her foam skull to perfection. What color should I do mine? I was thinking black glitter but that bronzy gold is hot stuff

pumpkin + stocking = classy halloween
I can’t wait for the Bug Fair in Pomona this year so I can buy a bunch of pumpkins and decorate the shit out of my apartment with some bordello looking pumpkins like this baby.
I’ve acquired my coworker’s old iMac and fully intend on figuring out how to turn it into an aquarium for my home office. I may be bugging the prop shop guys for help…
Some of you may know that I am currently working on a very big wedding project. With that, my house has been littered with bridal magazine, research and project books…. one of which I had to share: This book, The Paper Bride from Purgatory Pie Press, is great for inspiration and contains a ton of D.I.Y. projects & templates for postcards, books, programs, etc. Simply put: it’s charming. It’s a great resource for paper crafts and I would recommend it for any designer… not just strictly the wedding crowd.
