Finally went to Mashti Malone’s tonight (after putting it on my to-do list in November), the Persian ice cream parlor down the street from me, and got the hands down, most delicious ice cream in Los Angeles: creamy rosewater. Before you turn your nose up at rosewater ice cream, (I know, us ethnics - well, halfsies - like weird shit), they have “normal” flavors too, but you’d be missing out majorly if you skipped over the rosewater, mango, pistachio, or turkish coffee flavors for something more plain jane. Nothing personal against rocky road, but if you don’t feel like being adventurous in your ice cream tasting, there’s a Coldstone down the street.

I lived at Martel and Sunset for 6 months and that place would ALWAYS call to me. I agree, best ice cream in the city.

Totally Embarrassing

Tonight while I was driving home, my stupid new Blackberry (that I don’t know how to work yet) called my sister by accident.

She proudly told me that she now owns a two minute voicemail of me shamelessly singing along to Broadway musical numbers.
