Ok I may have gone overboard… I’m totally one of those assholes that celebrates Valentine’s Day now. I’m actually excited for it.
Here’s a cheesy take-out menu I made for ‘Ugly Betty’ a while ago. It has since been used on a ton of other shows, including ‘Brothers & Sisters’ and ‘Heroes’.
‘Ugly Betty’ was a fun show to design for because, like “My Name as Earl”, we were told to do whatever we want and make it as silly and tacky as we want… which always would be a fun change of pace.
Fun Fact: 7748 Fairfield Street is the address of the house I grew up in. I frequently use it for my props (as well as my last name)
I want to go home. I miss my nephew, my sister in law is due with my second nephew any day now and I barely recognize my cute little niece Ella. My current status is homesick.
I’m due for a Philly trip in June for a friend’s wedding… but can I sneak out before then? Sigh…
The conversations & play-by-play analysis of my roommate and I watching “the Bachelor” is by far the highlight of the week. Sure, we laugh the whole time, make fun of Vienna’s wonky eye, but secretly inside we are so invested in this cheesy reality show. We were yelling at the tv, saying “Don’t let her leave, Jake! Allie’s the one for you”. Paired up with our frozen yogurt trips, Monday nights at the Haberkern/Brandt household is a night not to miss.
